Since its founding in 2016 by John Staab, Motive Real Estate Group has been driven by a passion for real estate and a commitment to positively impacting lives. For us, it's more than transactions; it's about fostering happiness, family, and security through homeownership.

John Staab
John Staab is the founder and owner of Motive Real Estate Group, with over two decades of diverse experience in real estate, finance, and construction. Throughout his career, John has held leadership roles, earning a reputation for managing complex real estate projects and transactions with precision, creativity, and steadfast commitment to client success. John's dedication to his clients is unwavering. His attentiveness, friendliness, sense of humor, and confidence put buyers and sellers at ease.
John founded Motive with a clear philanthropic mission. For every property transaction Motive completes, a home is donated to a family in a developing country. Entrepreneurs in developing countries are awarded micro-grants from commercial deals. This initiative is the heart and soul of Motive. As of 2024, Motive has donated hundreds of homes and provided dozens of small business grants, generating positive economic growth in all aspects of the community. John's annual trips to Mukuni, Zambia, to participate in building and education projects have made him a well-known and respected community member.
Before founding Motive, John held leadership positions at Q Development, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., and TD Ameritrade. He partners in multiple residential development projects and invests in residential and commercial properties in Fort Worth and the surrounding area.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and accounting from Fort Hays State University and an MBA from Texas Christian University. His exceptional track record of excellence and innovation earned him Fort Worth Magazine’s Entrepreneur of Excellence Award in 2019, along with years of Top Producer and Best Agent accolades from 360 West Magazine and other regional publications. He is the loving husband of interior designer and home stager, Jessica Brandrup, and the proud father of twins Brennan and Sloan.

Kelli Grace
Kelli is a life-long DFW resident with a solid foundation in business administration and communications, driven by a passion for helping others. After obtaining her license in 2015, she began her real estate career in the new construction sector before joining Motive Real Estate Group in 2018. As a transaction coordinator and assistant, she combines her insider knowledge of the metroplex with a client-centered approach to ensure a seamless experience for all. When she’s not working, you’ll find her cheering on the Texas Rangers, getting lost in a good book, or exploring the outdoors with her family and two dogs.
Josh Lindsay
Josh Lindsay
After a career in education, Josh found his way into real estate by buying a variety of small commercial properties over time and saying yes to volunteer opportunities. His neighborhood association led to an area architectural review committee, which led to the Fort Worth Building Standards Commission, the City Plan Commission, and the Commercial Board of Adjustment. A real estate license was a natural next step. Two years with Motive have helped Josh expand into helping others with their real estate goals.

With a stellar track record as a serial entrepreneur and CPA, Craig Morgan brings a wealth of business expertise to each transaction, offering clients unique financial insight and strategic guidance. His experience in launching a nd exiting multiple start - ups in the oil and gas and chemical industries showcases his knack for innovation and strong financial management. Beyond real estate, he is the owner of Avoca Coffee, a beloved Fort Worth coffee shop with multiple locations, and a partner in an emerging animal nutrition company. Craig’s diverse background, financial acumen, and commitment to client success make him an invaluable asset to our team and the clients who work with him.
